If these are the last days, and they are, then righteous men and women will be under a constant onslaught of the devices and connivances of wicked men, and they are. Of the anti-christ, God prophesied by the great prophet Daniel the following in chapter 7, verse 25:

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

In this barrage of wicked words and deeds "the love of many shall wax cold." Jesus said in Matthew 24:12-13:

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

MAN SAID: According to prominent evolutionist Alan Guth in Astronomy, under the heading "Cooking Up a Cosmos:" So, in the inflationary theory the universe evolves from essentially nothing at all, which is why I frequently refer to it as the ultimate free lunch." 

Now THE RECORD. The facts of science do not drive evolution and its purported billions of years of history, but man’s theories couched in his evil deeds do. Jesus said in John 3:19-20:

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Mitochondrial DNA appears to mutate much faster than expected, prompting new DNA forensics procedures and raising troubling questions about the dating of evolutionary events. In 1991, Russians exhumed a Siberian grave containing nine skeletons thought to be the remains of the last Russian tsar, Nicholas II, and his family and retinue, who were shot by firing squad in 1918. But two bodies were missing, so no one could be absolutely certain of the identity of the remains. And DNA testing done in 1992 — expected to settle the issue quickly — instead raised a new mystery.

The mystery concerned dates relating to the clock rate. It appears that mutations occur at a much more rapid rate than had been imagined. Although there seems to be considerable debate about the cause of the faster rate, the faster rate has been verified by independent investigations.

Again, Gibbons says:

Regardless of the cause, evolutionists are most concerned about the effect of a faster mutation rate. For example, researchers have calculated that "mitochondrial Eve" — the woman whose mtDNA was ancestral to that in all living people — lived 100,000 to 200,000 years ago in Africa. Using the new clock, she would be a mere 6,000 years old. [End of quote]

God’s Word teaches us that the earth and its universe were created by God in six literal 24-hour days just over 6,000 years ago. 

God’s Word speaks of us and says we are "fearfully and wonderfully made." The following excerpts are taken from R. O. Muncaster’s book, Examine the Evidence:

The human body contains 10 to the 28th power atoms—more than all the stars in the universe.

Isotope studies indicate that 90 percent of our atoms are replaced annually.

In the retina there are 120 million rods (for dim, night, and peripheral vision) and about 7 million cones (for color and detail vision).

The eye can distinguish millions of shades of color.

The ear has a million moving parts.

In addition to its complex hearing system, the ear has over a hundred thousand motion-detecting hair cells that allow us to maintain balance and motion.

Your nose can determine 10,000 different smells.

Your body has 450 "touch" cells per square inch.

There are estimated to be 100 billion neurons in the brain.

Each neuron is estimated to have 10,000 branching fibers connecting it with other neurons.

The brain has the capacity to store the amount of information contained in 25 million books (8 million more than are now in the Library of Congress).

The brain makes about a thousand trillion computations per second.

All of the above—and much, much more—just from one tiny DNA molecule that somehow "knew" exactly how to build and what to do for a particular person. Your body is vastly more complex than all manufacturing facilities in the entire world together. The idea that the body’s vast microbiological complexity could have evolved from a simple bacterium exceeds belief. Where did all the information come from? [End of quote]
