Solutions For Deadly Times

These are very uncertain and calamitous times. This feature is being written during the week of October 13, 2008. Presently, the global economy in its entirety has been teetering on the very verge of collapse. It is during this very kind of time that the antichrist, the son of perdition, will rise up on the world stage to lead the world into a confrontation with God Himself — and to its utter destruction.

Solutions For Deadly Times

Article#: 1087

Such power and such glory and such beauty that God has made available to those who are called by His name!  Jesus said in Luke 17:20-21:

20  And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

21  Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

The invisible kingdom that science is just beginning to detect, and what is theorized as a parallel, invisible universe, is real and very tangible.  You can find it for yourself and bring this beauty to your family and friends.  Imagine: You can enter this marvelous universe in mere minutes, even at this moment.  How magnificent an idea!  How colossal an opportunity!  Are you ready to be born a second time?  Are you ready to kiss the guilt and shame of your sinful life goodbye?  Are you ready for life and life more abundantly?  Are you ready for peace that passes understanding?  Then GodSaidManSaid has good news for you.  Today is your day of salvation.  Click onto “Further With Jesus” for simple instructions to find immediate entry into the invisible universe – the Kingdom of God.  NOW FOR TODAY’S SUBJECT.

GOD SAID, Isaiah 8:11-13:

11  For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,

12  Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.

13  Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

GOD SAID, Proverbs 3:19-26:

19  The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.

20  By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.

21  My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:

22  So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.

23  Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.

24  When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

25  Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.

26  For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

GOD SAID, Psalms 112:7:

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

MAN SAID: The Bible has no supernatural instructions to offer this enlightened and sophisticated world.  It was written by mere, simple men thousands of years ago, and it’s a crutch to the uneducated and easily-led.

Now THE RECORD.  These are very uncertain and calamitous times.  This feature is being written during the week of October 13, 2008.  Presently, the global economy in its entirety has been teetering on the very verge of collapse.  It is during this very kind of time that the antichrist, the son of perdition, will rise up on the world stage to lead the world into a confrontation with God Himself—and to its utter destruction.  The Old Testament prophet Daniel prophesies of this event in chapter 8:24-26:

24  And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

25  And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

26  And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.

Whether this is that time or not, only time itself will tell.  God-willing, GodSaidManSaid will soon address this issue in an update of the “Twenty-One Signs of Doomsday” series.

These present global uncertainties have gripped the world’s heart with terror.  This gripping fear is pushing man toward his stress limit.  The end of that journey is psychological and physical disease, death, suicide, et cetera.

In the book Deadly Emotions, Dr. Don Colbert, M.D., writes, “According to the American Institute of Stress, between 75 and 90 percent of all visits to primary-care physicians result from stress-related disorders.”  [End of quote]  Dr. Colbert also reports that 2.4 million adults in the United States are affected by panic attacks (and I assure you the numbers are skyrocketing during these tumultuous times).

According to Dr. Jordan S. Rubin, in his book The Maker’s Diet, sudden stress is the most common “trigger” for fatal heart attacks.  You cannot afford fear and stress.  The results are deadly.  The Word of God spends considerable time teaching its adherents the supernatural power of shifting fear and stress, and even easily handling sudden fear.  Modern science is just beginning to understand the truly debilitating workings of fear and stress.  Techniques for relief are fully and repetitively recorded in the Holy Bible and are just recently beginning to be understood.  How could these ancient writers have known, thousands of years ago, the intricacies of psychology’s latest discoveries?  The answer is, of course, that the words of the Bible are the Words of God, the Creator, who fully understands the makeup of man.

Again, from Dr. Colbert’s book, Deadly Emotions:

According to one study, relatives of individuals with major depression have an increased risk of approximately ten-fold for incidences of depression over the next two generations.  I believe this is the result of genetics and a learning process—specifically, a “learned helplessness.”

As a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania, Martin Seligman and a fellow student conducted research that showed that people learned helplessness, and therefore could unlearn it.  [End of quote]

God commands Isaiah in the verses quoted earlier, “…neither fear ye their fear…”  The natural tendency to fear is learned.  Fear can be supernaturally eliminated, and this is also learned.  Learned helplessness is passed down generationally.  The Bible teaches that the sins of the father are passed down to the third and fourth generations.  In addition to inheriting fearful tendencies, a host of word merchants is peddling fear to the population at large—not in teaspoon-fulls, but shovel-fulls.  I’m referring to our politicians, and especially the news media, which in many cases fill the role of fear-mongers.  Tune them out!  Otherwise, you will learn their fear, and remember: it is deadly.

Shifting fear and stress is a simple supernatural procedure of mixing God’s Word with faith.  Hebrews 4:2:

For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

As we mix God’s Word with faith, fear will disappear.  Fear is the very absence of faith.  How would you like today to be the very best day of your life, and for the sure promise that tomorrow will be better?  This is surely within our reach.  There are two foundational verses that assure it.  Romans 8:28:

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Proverbs 4:18:

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

If I am a child of God, called according to His purpose, all things will work to my good, and every day my path will get brighter.  Take two 3x5 index cards and write one of the verses above on each card.  Keep them in your shirt pocket or purse and read them aloud several times daily.  We must mix the Word with faith.

There are many phenomenal features on GodSaidManSaid that will help you live fearlessly and joyfully in the midst of a multitude of contradictions.  The features will be listed at the end of this feature.  Read or listen to one daily.  Be assured: you will not be wasting your time.

Isaiah reveals a gargantuan revelation in chapter 26:3:

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Those who believe in and follow Christ Jesus have the promise of perfect peace, which is the elimination of fear, frustration and stress.  Jesus Christ says in Matthew 11:28-29:

28  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
