Special Note
Special Note:
It was brought to our attention by a GodSaidManSaid visitor that possible erroneous information was presented on this site regarding the feature “Israel Finds Ten Commandments at Sinai, Egypt Demands Their Return.” After further review and an inquiry for further clarification from the publication Biblical Archaeology Review, from which we quoted, we discovered that we were, in fact, in error. The original Ten Commandments cast down by Moses were NOT FOUND. GodSaidManSaid quoted directly from Biblical Archaeology Review, which went into some detail on how the original tablets of stone were found, but later in the feature, it called the account a legal hypothetical. We apologize for the misleading report. The feature in question has been removed.
